HELP FOR SINGLE MUMS IN DOWNTURN

The project was launched to help single mums? Briefly explain what is the project about.
The project is called ' WeCare For U'.
It aims to reach out to divorcees, widows and other single mothers who not only have a tougher time juggling work and family, but it is hard to get help.
it provides help to those mums who has a tough time/trouble.


Imagine you came across a single mum who is unemployed, what are some advices you would give her? who can she turn to?
i would tell her to find a job so that she can support her family.
i would even advice her to pick up skills such as sewing/baking. It might benefit her. She can generate an income by doing so.

• behaved strangely since the beginning of the year.
• played computer games for 6 hours a day to relieve himself.

not really. it depends on one's opinion. some might relieve their stress easily by going for a jog, eat, hang out.. etc.

I always try my best not to get stress easily. I will calm myself down, think about different things and try to forget about my problems. (:
it might not be stressful if you can manage your own personal things well.


(b) What are some problems you face as a student which adds to your stress level?

• new topics to learn. Especially when it is super difficult and takes a lot of time to have better grasp and master in that topic/subject.
• to be the best and do your best in the class/whole cohort.
• to get good grades.
• to do well for Olevels.

The Reasons Why Some People Choose To Have Body Arts On Their Body

They want to look cool!
They love the cool designs on their skins.
They want to have thier own style.

What are some impressions you would form of a person whose body is covered with tattoo?
i feel disgusted.
They do not think of their future.
They just destroy their beautiful skin that God gave them.(:

Having tattoos might give a bad reputation towards one as people might think that they have join gangs/create trouble.. etc.

Would you consider getting a tattoo in future? Why?

Sharp Rise in Girls under 16 having sex

The two reasons that cause a sharp rise in girls under 16 having sex are:
The girls have the desire to keep their beloved boyfriends and afraid they might lose them. Therefore, this causes them to have sex when they are young.
Mostly,this has become "trend" for youngsters as they see many teenagers like them do this and they think sex is a "cool" thing.
Due to influence and peer pressure, they followed blindly and not thinking of the consequences. They have led themselves to danger and put themselves in serious trouble.

What are some consequences which a girl might face for engaging in casual sex?
The girl has to take her responsibility. She might get pregnant at a young age. They had to take care of a baby at an earlier age. This might have bad reputation towards them as when you are still young, you would not wish to have problems/troubles and only wish to enjoy your life!

They might suffer from diseases such as HIV/AIDS as both the girl and boy, had an unprotected sex.


What are some of your reactions after reading this article? If one day, a close friend of yours confess to you that he/she has been engaging in sex, what would your advice to him/her be?
I felt pity towards these young girls as they have to go through this. They should have thought of the consequences before having sex at a young age.
In addition, i felt shocked too. Because, these girls are having sex for the sake their boyfriends. Why didn't think of themselves? Why can't they say NO to sex?

I will definitely wake him/her up and make him/her realise of her consequences. I will help him/her out in whatever useful ways such as visiting the councillor with him/her, be there with him/her, give my support. I will not make him/her life feel so miserable.
Lastly, i will give him/her a warm hug as he/she might feel so depressed or stress over the stupid mistakes he/she has done. As one, needs the care and concern and support from someone really close to him/her when he/she is in DEEP TROUBLE. So that, his/her life will continue smoothly and anything can be solved.

Article: “Tuition Crazy” – ‘IN’ Section

Question 1:
State any two reasons mentioned by students why extra tuition was necessary.

Tuitions can help those students who are weak in thier subjects. And those who could not cope and grasp concepts in school. Teachers might be teaching too fast and makes it hard for them understand what they teach. Hence, with the help of tuition, they can find sometime to revise slowly with thier tutors to enable them to have better understandings in the particular subject.

Students can find opportunities to seek help and ask more questions from tuition. This also helps them to understand more. Some students might want someone to be there when they are studying so that it might give encouragement or they could have the feeling of urge to study.

Question 2:
Do you think it is necessary for you to have tuition? Why?

No. Tuition is not necessary for me as i can manage my time well and try my very best to pay close attention and understands a subject well. I will revise through that topic so that i will nto get lost during lesson time. In my opinion, tuition is like a "second school" for me as you just listen and understand the topics taht have been taught by your teacher.

Eventhough one does nto have tuition, he/she can try her best to manage his/her time well to revise and get a better grasp on the subjects.
